About Us

Welmaid products are manufactured by Anchor Plastics, a wholly Australian-owned company. Anchor Plastics Pty Ltd was formed in 1969 by Brian Harward and Don Parker for the purpose of supplying quality tooling and thermoplastics products to local industry.

Over the past 40 years the company has grown and in 2006 Anchor Plastics purchased Pennicook Davison, another plastic injection mould company. In purchasing Pennicook Davison Anchor also acquired the Welmaid brand name. The Welmaid brand represents the high quality plastic glassware and homeware side of the business.

Anchor Plastics have provided their services to both small and large companies including Aristocrat, Arnotts, Caltex, Caroma Dorf, Gilbarco Sigma and many more large corporations.
